LITTLE OWLS

The smallest owl in our region as big as a blackbird. Unlike most owls they are dayhunters. Insects, mice are their main food. Do not underestimate them though because they sometimes catch pigeons bigger than themselves. How to get them into the small holes, nooks and crannies they often nest in is the next problem.
